Athen in Traunreut

We wanted to eat some Greek tonight and try the Athens because it has good reviews. Portions are meant nicely, but we didn't like the food. The gyros tasted too much like pork, the squid tubes had little taste and the salad dressing was somehow impossible to find. Maybe we just weren't lucky today.

A weekend in Traunreut with friends. We were there for the first time. The food is excellent, we were greeted very friendly, the hospitality was very nice and attentive, we can only recommend it!

The food was so delirious! We had lamb cotteletts and appetizers The service was friendly and the tables clean (We sat under a huge tree in the garden) ..The only negative thing was that we waited a long time for the food. I recommend to call ahead.

Our favorite Greek for years! The food is always good! The portions more than enough! The staff was friendly and very accommodating! You feel very comfortable! For us the best Greek far and wide :). Keep it up..

Before the meal was good! Now the not so nice action: 19:00 on site. 20:50 the last meal. The story about it: Ordered three meals, the waiter leaves, after about 10 minutes he comes back and asks again. This time he writes it down. Starters come after a short time, ok. But then comes the first main course: Greek salad (was my wife's main course) and two side dishes of salads. Side dishes ate salads, unfortunately little salad sauce, but asked and we got vinegar oil. We ate side salads, empty bowls were cleared away and then we could wait another half an hour. Then came the other main courses (my wife had already eaten her salad by then). Our friend got her grill plate and unfortunately my food was wrong (wrong number). After the grill plate was eaten, my grill skewer came. Unfortunately, I have to say we would have liked to have eaten all together (went to other tables with more people too) but that was not possible. The boss is actually quite nice but there was no apology or anything else. I will avoid going there for now because the frustration for this evening was too great for all of us. We went there because of the positive opinion, but that is just wrong. We were very disappointed.

We were here in Traunreut on vacation and walked past the restaurant's beer garden. The atmosphere appealed to us immediately and so we went to eat there the next day. Our first impression did not disappoint: the waitresses and the boss were super nice, funny, professional, attentive and courteous from the start. Extra requests were fulfilled and you felt comfortable right away. The food was really tasty and the portions were more than adequate. You could tell that the waitresses enjoy doing their job and that everyone gets along well, it was very harmonious. We were so excited that we went to eat there again the following day. Absolutely to suggest!!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very warm welcome. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Our grill plate for two was by far the best we have ever eaten. The potion was plentiful and the taste was excellent. We can only warmly recommend the restaurant. We'd love to come back. ????

We were there for the first time yesterday. A recommendation from my brother, who often likes to eat there. We were welcomed very friendly, the two children were not a problem. The menu was rather, the selection was great. The food was mega delicious and the portions were sufficient. Sometimes we ate it at lunchtime and when it warmed up it was also delicious. We will definitely come back

Good Greek restaurant. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff

Best greek restaurant in range. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Place makes you feel leaving Germany and traveling right down to Greece when entering, beautiful atmosphere. Foos is great and prices are almost too cheap for the quality you get. Make sure you book a table in advance, many people know about this place so it's fully booked most of the time.
